A derelict single dwelling has been replaced with two modern town houses that fit this small Richmond site like a glove. The project explores the possibilities of multiresidential projects on tight sites, and demonstrates that such discrete interventions can provide an important contribution to the process of urban renewal and densification in inner-city areas whilst preserving the fine grain heterogeneity of local neighbourhoods.
